If you are asking if i challenged myself to see how many Fs i could get in the title… Why yes, yes i did. LOL!
Anywho – I gave you the motivation to start with the last two posts (please read those if you wound up here first) – but I want to help you pick your flava. You may be starting off from ground zero, a totally sedentary lifestyle and/or have some restrictions in your body so yoga might be your flava. You might have worked out or have been active at one point, but life happened. Trust me, i understand! You might have a specific look or weight goal in mind. No matter the goal, you should invest in a few beginner basics:

I have found out that yoga mats are lifeeeee! Even if you aren’t doing yoga particularly, this is a wise investment. It is a game changer especially if you are like me and like to change up your scenery and potentially do a little something outside. Learn from me, sis: pushups and pavement DONT mix. Get a mat. Five Below has so many cuteeee yoga mats! Get into it.
Also – while you’re there – do yourself a favor: get a CUTE water bottle! I promise you it makes a difference when you are just not feeling it. Drinking enough water daily is paramount to the success of your fitness journey, so make sure that you get your chug on! If you are feeling a little jazzy, cut up some fresh fruit and add to your water, and voila! An instant party for your taste buds with no guilt attached!
As a matter of fact, just check out FiveBelow’s entire fitness section. It is a good way to add to your home gym without breaking the bank! There is a variety of items online, but trust me, you want to go in-store to see everything! They have dummbells, different resistance bands, jump ropes, there is even some activewear. Just go! You will not regret it.
Whether your routine consists of yoga, cardio, weights, or running, pick your flava and make it happen! Just know that I’m proud of you!
Do me a favor: share one of your fitness wins with me this week! Even if it was, i haven’t actually worked out yet, but i have been more mindful of what I’m eating. That is awesome! A win is a win and just know I’m cheering you right on! Talk soon!
Until next time,
